Mingtao Zhang, Ph.D.

Dr. Zhang got his B.S. degree in Chemistry in 1993, M.S. degree in Physical Chemistry in 2000, and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 2006 from Nankai University in China. He was working as an associate professor in Nankai on computational chemistry, in particular, on the mechanism of homogeneous organic reaction, metalorganic catalysis polymerization, and the electronic transition of photoelectricity materials. As a visiting scholar in Purdue University, he is now focusing on the computional studies of electronic structures and properties of polymorphic organic crystals. He conducts both quantum mechanical calculations and related computer coding.
