Iris Archer

Iris is a junior in Biochemistry at Purdue University. She joins us as a Purdue Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow. Iris has prior research experience working on cell wall composition and architecture with application to biofuel production. Her research in Dr. Li’s lab focuses on in-vitro testing of paclitaxel crystals in cancer cell lines, and on the effects of various coatings on the cellular uptake and cytotoxicity of paclitaxel nano-crystals. Iris hopes to pursue a career in drug development to treat cancer or auto-immune diseases.
